Who is responsible
This website is run by Built Ventures LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States (“Inqiry”, “we”). We are the controller of the personal data described here. For anything about your data, write to nicco@inqiry.com.
What we collect and why
When you ask for a free plan: your email address, the website you entered and whether you asked as a brand or an agency. We use them to make the plan you asked for, send it to you and follow up about it. Legal basis: steps you asked us to take (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in following up on your request (Art. 6(1)(f)). Without an email address we can't send the plan. We do not sell your information or add you to a mailing list.
When you book a call: the “Book a call” button opens our booking page on Cal.com. There you give your name, email address and anything you add to the booking. We use them to hold the call and follow up on it. Legal basis: steps you asked us to take (Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in following up (Art. 6(1)(f)).
When you visit the site: like any website, our hosting provider receives technical request data, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Visitor statistics: we count page views with Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages people read and where they come from. It records the page, the referring site, country, device type, browser and operating system, without cookies. Visits are told apart by a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, and we only see totals, never individual visitors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f)); you can object at any time by writing to us or by blocking the script in your browser.
Session insights, only if you accept cookies: if you click Accept in the cookie banner, we use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site: clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and recordings of the visit, plus device, browser and approximate location. We use it to find what confuses visitors and improve the page. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). If you decline or don't answer, Clarity never loads. You can withdraw your consent at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
To make a plan we look at public information about the company website you sent: search results, YouTube and the site itself. That is information about the company, not about you.
Who receives it
- Vercel Inc. (United States) hosts the website and runs the visitor statistics. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
- Microsoft Corporation (United States) runs Clarity, only for visitors who accept cookies. Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
- Hostinger hosts our mailbox, where your request arrives by email.
- Cal.com, Inc. (United States) runs the booking page, where your booking arrives.
They act on our behalf. We are a US company, so your request is handled in the United States. No one else receives your data unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your request or booking while we are in touch about your plan or call and delete it no later than 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Ask us to delete it at any time and we will.
Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days and heatmap and click data for 13 months, then deletes them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. Write to nicco@inqiry.com; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. We make no automated decisions about you.
Changes
If this notice changes, we update it here and change the date at the top.
